Nationalpark SommerCard

May - October

To fully enjoy the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region with its diverse offerings, the National Park SummerCard is available from May 1 to October 31.

All guests staying at participating partner accommodations receive the National Park SummerCard from their hosts.

With the card, visitors can access 60 attractions, including sights, museums, natural spectacles, leisure and sports facilities, and mountain railways. Numerous hiking taxis take you to the most beautiful spots in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region. The card also includes a one-day admission to the Großglockner High Alpine Road Experience, access to the Kolm-Saigurn toll road, and a one-day ticket for the Gerlos Alpine Road.

New from May 2025 – Salzburg Verkehr Guest Mobility Ticket: The Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region is a partner of the Guest Mobility Ticket. From the moment you check in within the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region, you can use all public transportation across the entire SalzburgerLand for free throughout your stay. This allows you to travel comfortably, flexibly, and sustainably.

With 1,856 km² the Hohe Tauern National Park is the largest national park in the Alps. Its unique and original alpine natural and cultural landscape stretches from around 1,000 m above sea level up to 3,798 m to the summit of the Großglockner. It is a beautiful holiday region with 19 villages in the south of SalzburgerLand.
