The Nationalpark SommerCard is the guest card for summer stays at participating accommodation providers in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region. It is included from your first night and issued directly by your host. The season runs from 1 May to 31 October.

Validity and use

During the Nationalpark SommerCard season, the card is valid from the arrival date to the departure date of your booked stay. It is personal and non-transferable.

The card’s validity does not mean that all participating partners are open throughout the season. When planning your visits, please consider opening times, weather conditions, capacity limits and any advance booking requirements.

The latest information provided by each participating partner and the general terms and conditions terms of use take precedence.

Inklusive Partners and Bonus Partners

The range includes cable cars, museums, nature experiences, leisure facilities and sports activities. Each day, you can use or visit one attraction offered by a participating inclusive partner free of charge. Selected transport and toll road services can be used in addition to this daily benefit.

Bonus partners offer the discounts and benefits specified in their published offers.

Additional mobility benefits

These benefits can be used in addition to your daily included attraction:

  • Grossglockner High Alpine Road: one day ticket for a car or motorcycle per stay.
  • Gerlos Alpine Road: one day ticket per stay.
  • Kolm-Saigurn toll road: daily use, subject to the service description.
  • Participating hiking taxis and hiking buses: use in accordance with the respective offer.

How the SommerCard differs from the Guest Mobility Ticket

The Nationalpark SommerCard and the Salzburg Verkehr Guest Mobility Ticket are separate offers.

The Nationalpark SommerCard includes tourist attractions, bonus benefits and selected transport and toll road services. It is available to guests staying at participating accommodation providers in the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region.

The Guest Mobility Ticket is available to all overnight guests in the SalzburgerLand and is valid on public transport throughout the province. Your accommodation provider issues it electronically or as a PDF at check-in or pre-check-in.

Can attractions be visited more than once?

One of the 60 inclusive services can be used or visited free of charge per day.
In addition, many service partners grant every holder of a valid SommerCard a 50% discount on the regular admission price if the daily free admission has been used up. Details can be found in the National Park SommerCard folder or on the website. In addition to the inclusive service, the mobility services (hiking buses, day ticket for the Grossglockner High Alpine Road,...) can be used free of charge.
