At the bottom of the Gasteiner valley you find the Klammstein castle, which served as protection for the valley and its inhabitants in the past. A guided tour through the old masonry structures gives an interesting insight into the history of Gastein’s oldest building. The open-air restaurant and the castle tavern invite you to linger for a while.
